Long term animal lover Carly lives with her four cats and two horses with the cattery 50 meters from the house. We only board cats, no dogs allowed meaning cats can enjoy a stress free stay. Cwtches for Cats is a family business and cats may be greeted by my parents, grandparents or son and recently joined the team is Jane who helps to look after the cats but also provides an outreach Cat sitting service and Home boarding option. See below for details.

We will take the details of your vet and ask you to complete a consent form to allow us to seek treatment for your cat if this is required. If we are unable to use your vet for whatever reason we will use our own vet who is available 24 hours a day. You will receive a bill for any treatment directly.
We are able to give cats medication as long as we have advance notice of what this will entail and for complex cases we may need to discuss this with your vet to ensure we are able to provide the best car while in our cattery
Sometimes it is not possible to bring your cat into the cattery. Perhaps your cat is not immunised or we may be full and unable to cater for your cats stay. Often people prefer for older or disabled cats to be cared for in their own home. For what ever reason, Jane is able to provide a cat sitting or visiting service in your own home. Jane already looks after the cattery one day a week and when Carly is away on holiday, she has always adopted older and disabled cats herself and is experienced in building relationships with shy and timid cats in particular.
We have one space available at any one time for Home boarding your cat. Jane has converted part of her upstairs into a large and comfortable cattery with a Double bed and cat play pen, although most cats prefer to sit on the windowsill and watch the world go by. Cats benefit from having Jane on site and even though this is a relatively new service all cats that have stayed have settled well and enjoy having the comforts of home away from home.
